Ora E. Prisk 88 of Monticello dies at home after a long life as a threshing contractor and woodsman. He operated a Reeves steam engine at the 86th Thresheree reunion near Janesville and grew up with steam power. Surviving are two daughters, three sons, two brothers, one sister, and a wife. He was born Feb 16 1877 in Monroe and married Ella Maretta Davis in 1901.

Milo Dietmeier Jr. of Orangeville, 17, remains in critical condition at St. Anthony Hospital Rockford after a Friday night crash on Illinois 26 south of Orangeville. He was transferred from Freeport Memorial Hospital for a tracheotomy as four youths were treated for injuries from the ice skid that split a tree with Michael L. Milliken 18 of McConnell driving. Milliken was hospitalized with forehead lacerations along with passengers Wayne Price and Jacob Muggler 18 both of McConnell who sustained leg injuries.

Arthur Houser 58 of Route 1 Browntown died at Freeport Memorial Hospital from an embolism linked to injuries from a Feb 28 crash a mile outside Orangeville. He was thrown from a northbound car that left the highway struck a sign, tree and pole before in a ditch. Born Naperville 1906, he was a printer by trade with a history at Rawleighs Freeport United Auto Workers Chicago and Darling ton Journal. Survived by wife Evelyn two daughters Carol Houser Platteville and Eleanor Yepez Caracas and two grandchildren. Burial Cadiz Cemetery with services at St nessy Funeral Home. Funeral officiant Rev C James Weis. He was a member of Evergreen Masonic Lodge Freeport.
