Rockford youth charged with double murder execution style slayings
John Wesley Williams Jr., 17, acquitted earlier in a sniper case, is held on murder charges for the execution style killings of two 14 year old cousins Ronald Johnson and Wayne Mullend ere. Police found a .22 rifle with a telescopic sight and homemade silencer in his home. The weapon was sent for ballistic tests. Williams had earlier faced charges for wounding Nick Licari, 15, and was acquitted January 27. His wife Linda, 16, says she was with him the evening of the slayings. The two victims were buried at Willwood Cemetery.
