Breakfast for 100 opened the event, with 18 and 9 hole golf winners named from both clubs. A buffet luncheon featured a July 4 centerpiece, and out of town guests attended. Bridge honors were awarded to Madison and Monroe participants, and multiple committees handled planning and hospitality. Outings included a Baptist Youth camp week and a miscellaneous shower in Brodhead hosted by Mrs. Schultz and Mrs. Buchanan.
