County Won't Clear Private Drives Snow removal bill limits county use
County highway commissioner Herman W. Kohn said the state law now allows but does not require the county to clear private driveways. He noted private roads are extensive and often too narrow for county equipment, making universal private-driveway snow removal impractical.
