The Monroe Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie was named outstanding aerie of the 1964-65 year at the State convention in La Crosse. Twenty-one Monroe members attended. past president Herbert Goecks to receive an award later for a strong membership drive and civic efforts. The Monroe Auxiliary won first in state for membership, with Mrs. Marvin Holcomb honored and Dorothy Dorn named to succeed her. A style show prize went to Mrs. Glenn Langston. The 1966 convention will be in Racine.
