The council studied $10 class A retailer licenses for beer depots and drugstore liquor sales, noting cooled beer violations and the need to inform seven local firms. Officials planned enforcement under current licenses and considered pharmacist permits and tavern licenses among approvals.

Norman Johnson at UW works with Green County highway crew. Robert Ableman works for Monroe Construction Co. Edwin Andereck at UW and Alan Prisk also work summer jobs. Maurer heads to a 10-week boys camp counselor post near Menomonee Falls. Albert Stauffacher plans to transfer next fall.
City council reviewed data showing Fort Atkinson bans on trailer living quarters outside approved trailer camps or home construction sites. City Manager Elmore Klement provided the information at Monroe officials’ request. The city also received a model trailer ordinance from the Wisconsin League of Municipalities.
