Williams Youth Hurt in Mishap
Curtis Wassame, 20, of Albany, is in good condition at St. Clare hospital after a motorcycle car crash on County Trunk E near Albany. He suffered chest injuries, a fractured nose, and abrasions while riding north with Priscilla Sharer, 18, who was turning onto the township road. Irked Bar Operator Wounded by Expected Burglar at Freedom
Liesch’s VFW bar operator Merrill Liesch faced a nightly siege of break ins, waited with a loaded 16 gauge shotgun, and exchanged gunfire when a burglar forced the door around 4 15 a m.
