Post Office Slated for Wayne South Wayne Wisconsin
Post Office Department awards contract to Miller Scrap Iron and Steel Co for a new post office at the NW corner of Galena and Centre Streets South Wayne Wisconsin. The one story air conditioned building with 900 square feet will replace the 540 square foot present facility. Construction to begin after plan approval with completion about six months later.

Lamb Twilight Meeting Slated
A Lamb twilight meeting is planned for Tuesday June 17 at 7 p.m. at the Walton Campbell farm in Spring Grove Township one mile south of Highway 11 west of Brodhead on County Trunk 6. Dr Art Pope of the University of Wisconsin will discuss his trip to Australia and sheep production there. Demonstrations cover testing worming and grading with Shropshire ewes and wethers to be judged. Big results for a small investment the want ad way.
