Warner Accepts Post in Macomb
Richard A. Warner former Albany high school teacher and coach has become assistant professor at Western Illinois State College in Macomb. He coached basketball and baseball at Albany for two years after graduating from Whitewater State College in 1950. He was a Janesville high school graduate with three varsity letters in basketball and track and was a 1945-46 Bluebird Big Eight forward. His high jump mark stood for a decade and he earned the Ellis Post American Legion athletic medal upon graduation. He later earned a Master’s from Colorado State College in Greeley.
