Mother Kills Her Daughters and Herself in Madison
A Madison mother, 25, strangled her two young daughters, aged nine months and three years, then hanged herself in the basement. Coroner Clyde Chamberlain said a note indicated despondency over feeling inadequate as a mother. The husband, Warren J. Kenney, a real estate appraiser, returned home to find the bodies.
