Robin Templeton a 16 year old Brooklyn resident becomes the Brooklyn Dairy Queen at the Green County Fair joining the Green County Queen and Princess. She is the daughter of Kenneth and his wife and will be a senior at Oregon High School in the fall. She was first runner up in Brooklyn.

Green County Junior Fair Sale posts strong prices
The second annual Green County Junior Fair Sale ended Friday with swine averaging 76 cents per pound and beef at 85 cents. Allan Myhre, president of the Green County Swine Producers Assn., thanked the community for support as buyers and sellers listed include Dave Sommers and Steve Schwartzlow among others bidding at Monroe area banks and Madison firms.
