Olaf J. Paulson, 80, of Argyle, a longtime public official and civic leader, died at the Skaalen Sunset Home at 9 20 am after years of illness. Born August 3 1880 in Willmar Minnesota he married Bertha Louisa Johnson March 27 1907 in Argyle. He worked in retail and banking in Argyle and served as school district clerk village treasurer and Argyle fire chief during the 1915 blaze. Survivors include son Carl in Chicago daughter Lois Roe of Stoughton and a sister.
