Mrs Olga Smith 67 lifelong Blanchardville resident died yesterday at 6 55 am in St Clare hospital after a medical stay. Born Olga Beatrice Wallom April 16 1888 she married William A Smith in Freeport August 15 1909. Surviving are husband two daughters three sons three sisters one brother and 13 grandchildren. Funeral services set for 1 pm Thursday at Blanchardville Lutheran church with burial in Graceland cemetery. Pallbearers are nephews Raymond Meade Robert Gould Harry Marshall Ernest Wenger Jr Robert Cockroft Paul Ryan.

Burial will be in Union Church Cemetery after services Thursday at 1:30 p.m. The attending physician cited heat as a possible contributing factor. Airman LaVerne Paul J. cannot return home from Africa for the funeral.

1955 Monroe high school graduate George S. Mauerman has accepted a four year athletic grant in aid from Vanderbilt University Nashville Tennessee.
