Teens Die In Private Party Car Crash At Blue Mounds
A 16 year old driver crashed while parking at an abandoned farm near Blue Mounds, killing 21 year old Dale Laufenberg and 15 year old Marilyn Frame. The farm outing involved four teen couples and the coroner called it an unchaperoned gathering. The incident occurred about 2:30 a.m. on private property.

Four-H Dairy Judging Contest Draws 200 Youth
Eight Green County 4-Hers joined 200 dairy youths from southeastern and southwestern Wisconsin at the fairgrounds for a judging contest.
