Police Chief Reports Busy Year and Progress for 1965

Mae Clark tops Walworth County deputy rookies in course
Former Monroe resident Mae Clark scored 97 plus based on ten weekly exams to lead a class of Walworth County Sheriff's Department recruits. The course, required for promotion from probationary to permanent status, demanded 200 off duty study hours plus 20 hours of class work. Clark joined to better perform her duties as a department clerk stenographer since June 1962.
