Argyle High School's Senior Band will perform at 2 30 p m Sunday Jan 23 featuring Bach Orlando Palandrino Overature Haydn and Inv Ito Ivkov compositions. Soloists include Bob Arnot Karen McGinnity Janet Williams with ensembles of clarinet trombone trumpet and percussion sections and a color guard finale.

Teen Confesses Slaying Parents After Wisconsin Crash
A 15 year old boy from Slippery Rock Pennsylvania confessed to authorities that he killed his parents Henry Sanderson and Dorothy Sanderson. The bodies were found near the family’s burned farmhouse in Butler County. He is being held as authorities plan to fly in formal charges from Pennsylvania.

Mrs Hefty 85 Madison Resident Dies at Hospital
Anna Hefty died in Madison General Hospital after a five year heart condition. Born Anna Elmer in Elm Switzerland she married Nicholas Hefty in 1899. The couple moved to America in 1909 farming near New Glarus. Survived by sons Roy Monroe Gust Horeb two daughters Russell Stuessy Carl Schliffe 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Zentner Funeral Home of New Glarus handles arrangements.
