Two Fatalities Rise State Road Toll in 1965 Wisconsin
Two men died in separate accidents raising Wisconsin’s 1965 road toll to 21, down 10 from a year ago. Ben Schacher, 55, of Antigo, died in a collision with a rock salt hauler at Highway 45 and Outagamie County Trunk BB while returning home from Fond du Lac. Delmore Evans, 44, of Shawano, died when his truck left Highway 29 and struck a tree five miles east of Bonduel.
