Mrs. Helen B. Bessert, 83, of 615 16th Avenue, died Saturday at 2 40 p.m. at St. Clare hospital after eight days as a patient. Born February 25 1876 in Nygard Germany she came to America aged eight. She married William Hartwig in 1895 and later William Bessert in 1927. Survived by sister Mrs. Andrew Hartwig Monroe. predeceased by two husbands, one sister and six brothers.
