Farm Institute Set at Belleville By Business Club

The Belleville Community Club and the High School Agriculture Department host the Belleville Farm Institute in the local High School gym on March 2. Dr. Robert R. Spitzer of Murphy Products will speak on freedom and missiles at 1 15 p.m. Other sessions cover vocational districts, dairy feeding, insecticides, and a women’s program. Prizes for forages and awards mark the event with demonstrations and a noon lunch.

Song in My Heart Show Saturday Night At Junior High

Green County Barbershop chorus members lead a Saturday night program titled Song in My Heart at the junior high auditorium. The event features comedy by The Lemmon Sisters and host Dick Campbell promoting the Heart Fund for February. Proceeds go to the heart cause with tickets sold at Monroe Banks Ruf’s Confectionary and by sorority members.

Agricultural Chest To Meet on Monday
