Lamont Zimmerman of Green County NFO rejects reports that 23 sows will be marketed as part of a county protest. Reise says a poll suggested 23 sows, but Zimmerman expects more. sales will occur in Mineral Point East Troy for sows and Lone Rock Reeseville for cows to reduce pork tonnage next fall. Relatives Prepare Services for Elliott Elliott in Chicago Crash
Relatives plan to attend services for Elliott Clarence Elliott 27 Kiel Wisconsin one of two men killed when a single engine aircraft crashed into an apartment building in Chicago near Sheridan Road and Lake Michigan. Elliott born December 6 1939 was assistant sales manager at Lake to Lake Dairy Cooperative Manitowoc. The other victim Charles A Brickner 38 was a salesman for the same cooperative. Both men left five children. The crash occurred in fog six minutes after takeoff from Meigs Field.
