Green County ASCS announces sign ups for the 1966 Feed Grain Program at the Monroe office. Ott says sign up runs to April 15 1966 with special Friday and Saturday hours Feb 25 26 for landowners with off farm employment. Changes may reduce payments. 50 percent of base can receive price support payments. no diversion or rental payment on initial 26 percent. Small 25 acre leases may see 1965 levels or more due to special consideration.

Teens Plan Gripe Session For Monroe Youth
Teens in Monroe will meet at 7 30 p m Wednesday in the Municipal Building Civic Room to discuss recreation needs. Fisharee Draws A Record Crowd At Yellowstone Lake Fair
A crowd estimated over 10 000 packed Yellowstone Lake for this year’s Fisharee festival. Conservation officials called it one of the largest events ever, with fair weather and thick ice aiding attendance. Cars lined the roadway for hours as spectators and ice fishermen filled the lake area. Norman Wood, a state conservation warden, reported minimal law enforcement issues. Prizes included an outboard motor and a three pound bass won by Walker Skaife of Blanchardville who earned a $25 prize.

Three City Mishaps Reported by Officers
Monroe police investigated three mishaps yesterday. At 2:50 a.m. a car driven by Paul P. Miller struck a parked vehicle belonging to George J. Brown on 15th Ave. At 12:25 p.m. Kenneth J Goodman Jr and Franklin W Pickett collided at 15th Ave and 16th St, pushing Pickett’s car into a quarter turn. A third collision occurred when Clifford D Leck’s car rolled from a parking stall and struck Roger D Wilson’s car as it passed.
