Mrs. Morton aged 87 died of age related complications at Wagner nursing home after two months of illness. Born March 18 1867 in Jordan Township she taught rural school before marriage to Charles J Morton. The couple farmed in Clarno and Monroe townships and retired in 1913. Survived by two daughters, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a sister, and several siblings. Funeral arrangements set with Rev. Paul J. Gibson officiating at the Bethel church with burial in Franklin cemetery.
