Mrs Martha Marti 91 Argyle dies after long illness

Mrs Martha Marti 91 of Argyle widow of the former Martha Daniels died at Lafayette County Manor Darlington after a long illness. Born in Dirschau Germany June 9 1872 she was a member of St Joseph Catholic church Argyle. Funeral arrangements are pending at Erickson Funeral Home Argyle.

Lake Mills Woman Dies in Colorado Highway Crash

Jeanette Michel of Lake Mills Wisconsin, 56, was killed in a high way collision east of Watkins on U S 40. Her husband Albert 65 and daughter in law Jean Michel 22 Mansha Wisconsin were hospitalized in Denver with neck injuries. Drivers Mark Michel 22 and Bonnie Anerspady 21 of Denver escaped injury. State patrol said a passing maneuver caused the collision.

Retired Judge Darling Dies on Manawa Visit

Retired Jefferson County Judge L. L. Darling died at 2 a.m. in Manawa Wisconsin from a heart attack suffered while visiting friends. He was 67. Darling was appointed by Gov. Kohler in 1930 and served 31 years on the bench retiring in December 1961.
