Argyle’s Tom Aebly sank five straight free throws in the final two minutes to lift the Orioles 58-56 over Brodhead and stay undefeated at home. Aebly, a 6foot1 senior, was chosen State Line League Player of the Week by the Evening Times for his clutch finish and 68 percent free throw shooting. Coach Ron Waage credited Aebly and teammates Anderson Isely Erickson Gruenberg for late-game rebounding and fast breaks that sealed the win and kept Argyle tied atop the Mini Division with Pecatonica and Barneveld.
