Sister Eileen Smith of Monroe has been appointed President of Mount St. Clare College in Clinton Iowa effective Jan 1 She previously served as assistant administrator at Memorial Hospital Burlington and led Mercy Hospitals merger efforts She holds degrees from Mount St Clare College the College of St Scholastica and Xavier University She succeeds Cecile Devereux and plans to work with Clinton community and Mount St Clare staff.

Also advertised is shop evenings at the Dearth Super Auto Mart with a well lighted and paved lot and courteous help.
