No term of Green County Circuit Court was held today due to the jury trial in Wisconsin versus Wayne Lehmann, a Watertown livestock dealer charged with fraud, being moved to the next motion day. Judge Arthur L. Luebke will hear motions. district attorney Joseph D. Viney says a possible settlement exists. The 9 a.m. jury call was cancelled.

Walters Family Still Homeless After Fire Seek Area Home
A search to find housing for Mr and Mrs Oliver Walters and their seven children continued today after their Roy Ruff farm home in Jefferson Township burned. Firefighters saved the dwelling but the family remains without a permanent residence. The Walters had previously suffered a December 13 1957 fire that left them destitute.
