Outagamie NFO Men Repair Fences at Oneida Stock Farm

War Hero York Losing In Final Battle
Sgt Alvin York, World War I hero and Medal of Honor recipient, remained gravely ill at a Veterans hospital after a sharp decline in health. His wife, son, and daughter were summoned to his bedside as reports described his condition as critical then grave and later very grave. He was brought to the hospital from Pall Mall, 140 miles northeast of Nashville, with an acute urinary infection.
