125th New Glarus Anniversary Program This Weekend
New Glarus marks its 125th anniversary with a weekend of events August 29 and 30. Activities include a Swiss Church lawn program at 10 am, a 2 pm parade, a 4 pm reception, a chicken barbecue, an 8 pm talent show at the high school, and a 2 pm Sunday Hall of History dedication at the Swiss Museum Village followed by a 5 pm New Glarus Hotel reception. Rain plan moves rites to the high school gym.

Four Face Drug Charges After Sunday Night Arrests
Four Rockford residents formerly of Monroe appeared in Green County Court on marijuana possession charges arising from a Sunday night stop in Mt. Pleasant Two.
