Six children aged from 9 weeks to 6 years died in a fire in a tenement on Cleveland Ohio's east side. Mrs. Elizabeth Stubbe 76 Dies in Monroe Hospital
Mrs Elizabeth Ann Stubbe aged 76 of Monroe died at 530 pm yesterday in a Monroe hospital from a cerebral hemorrhage after four and one half years of illness. She was born in Stephenson County Illinois and married August Stubbe in Freeport on April 16 1906. She moved to Monroe in 1937 after her husband death. Survived by two sons Benjamin Winslow and Lloyd Warren two daughters Luella Berset Dixon and Mrs George Ellefson Monroe a stepson Edward P Portage a brother William Fischer Katy Texas 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Funeral services Friday at 2 pm in the Martintown Community Church with Rev Roy Berg officiating. Burial in Rock Lily Cemetery Winslow. Friends may call at Stuessy funeral home tomorrow afternoon and night.
