Fourth Auto Victim Dies In Rural Argyle Crash
Wisconsin’s 1964 highway toll reaches 675 with the death of Joe Purcell 40 of rural Argyle after a car driven by George C. Fuchs 25 left Highway 81 near Monroe. Purcell was ejected as the vehicle rolled. Fuchs was treated for scalp lacerations. The crash occurred after midnight as the men traveled from Argyle to Monroe.
