The Monroe G U G G met in regular session at Turner Hall and received a semi annual report from the board of directors. Combined membership of 19 locals statewide reaches 2797. The state convention will be in Cudahy Wisconsin September 23 to 26 with delegates Mrs Lillian Klassy and Miss Ida Casanova. The charter was draped for departed sister Mrs Alice Frey. Birthday greetings went to five members and committees organized lunch and entertainment. High scorers in yass were Mrs Fred Wald and Mrs Albert Aeberli. 500 winners were Mrs Wilma Rothenbuehler and Mrs Emma Campbell. Next meeting August 22.
