Len Schmitt Pleads Innocent in Drunken Driving Case
Madison attorney Lenora F. Schmitt, a Merrill candidate in the 1952 U.S. Senate primary, pleaded innocent in Superior Court to drunken driving. Judge Roy Proctor set August 24 for trial. bail was $100. Schmitt was taken into custody Wednesday night on Highway 51 near Leeds by Dane County traffic officer A. R.
