Volunteers Meet Tonight as Doctors Back Hospital Drive

Representatives of the medical profession joined volunteer organizers to back a public appeal for funds to finance a four million dollar addition to St. Clare Hospital. Autopsy suggests brain tumor linked to Whitman rampage

The autopsy on Charles Joseph Whitman, the Texas campus sniper, found a small brain tumor that may have caused headaches contributing to his killings. The district covers eight counties across Illinois and Wisconsin. The district couple will vie for the national title August 22 23 in Chicago at the Pick Congress Hotel.
