Arthur Parson of Darlington Dies at 81
Arthur Parson, 81, a retired pioneer circus man from Darlington, died today in Madison after a long illness. He was the last of the Parson brothers, once owners of an early circus. The troupe toured with Ringling Brothers for years. a Parson parade wagon was added to the Baraboo circus museum last week. He survived by wife Orpha and three sons Delbert, Dr. Edward, and Robert.

Adolph Strahm Dies at 68 in New Glarus
Adolph Strahm 68 a retired York Township farmer and 1937 Master Farmer died after a long illness at his New Glarus home. Born in Switzerland he came to America in 1892 and farmed 120 acres with dairy cattle hogs and sheep. He leaves wife Ella a son Jacob a daughter Mrs Frank Schiesser a brother Robert Strahm Sr four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p m tomorrow at the Swiss Evangelical and Reformed church with Rev. Lynn F B Tschudy officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.

Harry Yde aged 52 former Stephenson County sheriff and former Illinois state police superintendent and Vandalia penal farm warden died Sunday in a Phoenix hospital after surgery. Survived by wife Margaret and son Robert, with other relatives. The Ydes once ran a Vandalia shoe store and later a Dixon women's wear shop.
