Mueller Funeral Will Be Saturday
Services for Arnold H. Mueller 65 of Route 2 will be held at 2 p m Saturday in St John s United Church of Christ. Burial in Jug Prairie cemetery. He died yesterday afternoon after a heart attack at his home on Highway 1181 east of Monroe. He retired May 1 1963 after six years with Green County Sheriff s Department but worked during emergencies. Surviving are three sons a daughter and six grandchildren. He was born October 4 1897 in Monroe and married Phyllis DeRemer February 1 1919. He was a member of St John s church and several law enforcement groups. He enjoyed fishing and trips to Canada.

MADISON The State Assembly refused to override Gov Reynolds veto of a Republican remap plan that would keep Milwaukee County Assembly seats at 24. A 47 46 vote largely party line upheld the veto. The Senate earlier voted to override. The Assembly will weigh a GOP proposal to reapportion districts by resolution to bypass the governor. Reynolds demands Milwaukee County 26 seats.
