A spate of wrecks across the United States left at least 19 dead in car plane and boating accidents. A Texas family of four perished near Bonita Louisiana after a rear collision ignited a fuel tank. Eight people died in light plane crashes in Indiana and Nebraska. A Nantucket? No, a Minden Neb businessman and three children perished in a fogbound plane crash near Cushing Neb. Three children drowned and three missing after a large ship wave capsized a Houston Bay motorboat. A pontoon raft accident at Brookfield Missouri killed two and injured eight. A fog collision between a Norwegian ship and a Greek freighter near Chesapeake Bay killed two passengers.

A coroner's inquest is set for 1 30 p m Wednesday into the traffic death of Ray mond H Foulker 23 Route 1 Judo He died Thursday night at St Clare hospital after a crash on High ways 11 81 near Hilltop restaurant when his motorcycle reportedly collided with the car driven by Gerald M Hauser 24 of 2309 12th Street The inquest was ordered after a weekend of investigation and conferences among the coroner district attorney and sheriff s deputies in the Circuit courtroom.

A farm home seven miles southeast of Juda was destroyed by fire on Saturday. Owners Elmer Asmus and tenant Reuben Goecks faced total loss of a $10 000 to $12 000 property. Charles F. DeNure, 64, of South Wayne, was injured when his farm truck went down a hill and slammed into three parked cars near the high school.
