Wittwer Wins Dual Graduate Grants From NSF and AEC
Cadet Leon A. Wittwer son of Mrs. Wilbert J Meier Platteville and Robert Wittwer Route 2 Monticello earned two graduate grants usable after graduation from the Air Force Academy Colorado Springs He is one of eleven senior cadets to win national awards for extended graduate study Wittwer is the only recipient of grants from both the National Science Foundation and the Atomic Energy Commission and will select between them He is expected to earn further honors in physics after a distinguished academy career.
