Kirk reinstates the school officials to prepare for implementation of Krentzman's order with state and federal authorities pursuing a modification through the courts.

AP reports former Green Beret Col Robert Rheault says U S troops in Vietnam use marijuana and any commander denying a drug problem is out of touch. Seven other Green Berets faced murder charges in a related case they were not convicted on. Rheault retired in October. A Saigon report notes enemy rockets hit central Saigon including a theater near Thieu's residence, killing one and wounding 36.
Ten more Teaching Assistants Association members at the University of Wisconsin ordered to appear in court, raising total court summons to 29 after a three week campus strike. Judge Sachtsen declared the strike illegal on April 1 and issued contempt citations for failing to carry out assignments, citing violation of the injunction.
