She was born May 15, 1892 in Clarno, married Samuel Meinert in 1917, and leaves a large family including four sons, four daughters, two sisters, one brother, and 17 grandchildren.

Burglars Crack Milwaukee Store Safe for $12000 During Snack Pause
Ingenious burglars drilled through the store roof and ceiling to enter the Kohl Bros. supermarket. They moved a 700 pound safe into a cooler, cut a groove in the door for a power cord, and cooked an egg using a heater while stealing about $12,000, half cash. The safe was found in the cooler with inner compartment missing and remains of the snack nearby.

Albany man Elmer Reese dies at 87 in Oregon
Elmer Reese 87 of Albany area died Saturday in Oregon. Funeral services were held today at Evansville with Rev C A Reichmora officiating. Burial followed at Maple Hill Cemetery. He was born June 1863, son of William and Ann Reese, and lived in Milwaukee and Madison before settling near Albany. His wife died 15 years ago. He leaves a son Kenneth of Wauwatosa, a daughter Vivian deceased, a grandchild and two great grandchildren. He was the last of 14 siblings.
