Smash Up at Monroe Hotel Draws Train Across Main Street
Orvil Wilson, sitting in a buggy in front of Monroe Hotel, was thrown when a locomotive crossed the Main Street crossing. The left hand was injured slightly, the buggy tongue damaged, and the harness ruined. Mr and Mrs W G Caldwell were called to Ashburn Tuesday afternoon by the illness of a niece.
