Doctor and horse clash leaves doctor with bruised eye

Onions Cause Duel Overrow Ends in Shootout
Rube Gibson and Joe Elligan quarreled over onions leading to a 22 caliber shot injuring Gibson near the belt line. Elligan fled but was captured next morning by Marshal Stephens and jailed. The bullet remains unfound. Gibson recovering, Elligan jailed at state expense.
