The Monroe City fair anticipates its biggest and best event with 19 horses in one race and 150 trotting pacing and running horses entered for the $800 stakes. Premiums boost cattle sheep hogs and poultry, and saddle and harness races feature the $800 prize. Season tickets for four big days available at local stores. program dates August 11 to 14.
