Connie Spurgeon 27 1500 West Second charged with theft by check bond $250. Jose Santiago 45 Grandfalls charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication fined $77. Additional notes report broken windows and a stolen lawn shower.

Local students cited for fire posters in Monahans-Wickett-Pyote ISD

Thirteen students earned awards for poster art at a ceremony at the fire station. David Medina and Rodney Erwin took second in district competition after winning divisions locally. Primary winner Susie Molina led a group of junior high and special education winners. MVFD will host an open house October 24 from 9 a.m. to noon to display posters with coffee and donuts.
