Gas use efficiency makes natural gas superior for home needs
The article argues natural gas provides greater efficiency and lower costs for household tasks. It cites gas dryers, stoves, water heaters, and heating as consuming less energy than electric equivalents, aided by lower energy losses in gas production and delivery. It notes electricity loses energy in generation and transmission, while gas piping uses far less, per a President's Council report.
