Appraisal Board Faces Budget Cut and Hearings Plan
The Ward County Appraisal Review Board will hold hearings June 21 to 24. The ARB size reduced to eight after Theresa Walker resigned. Budget for 1983 set at 282,030 a drop of 76,541 from last year due to fewer contracted appraisers and data processing cuts. A new office site was approved for negotiation with a 2,500 square foot building costing about 137,500.
