Wayne Lamar Allan aged 14 of 300 West A Street was hospitalized Wednesday night after a car bicycle collision at the A and Main Streets intersection. Mike Carrasco Jr., 22, of 815 North Carol drove west on A Street and stopped. He told Police Sergeant Fred Clark he did not see the boy on the bicycle. Allan was taken to Ward Memorial Hospital by Wilson- Miller Ambulance and was reported in good condition Thursday though still weak in the grocery store.
