Council to Consider Zoning and Regulation Changes
City Council meets Tuesday at 2 PM in City Hall to review zoning, housing, and building changes. Ken Waddell will present housing data, hazardous building reports to be considered, and zone change hearing dates set for four parcels and Tract 2 in Tatum First Subdivision. Other items include wastewater plant consultant report, industrial bonds, subdivision regulations, water service outside city limits, and amendment to Ordinance 693 on general zoning.

Theatre Plans To Be Discussed At Lunch
The Senior Citizens Luncheon will be held Monday at the Center directed by Louise Massey. Plans for a Globe Theatre trip Tuesday night accompany the luncheon. David Clark will provide the program with Linda and Marvin DeLong presenting a slide and song show. Meat is by Mitchells Thriftimart and desserts by hostesses. transportation calls to the Center by 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Services for Lawrence Williams 63 of 3041/2 S Carol are pending at Wilson Miller Funeral Home. He died Friday morning August 25 1978 at Ward Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born December 29 1914 in Plainview Arkansas he had lived in Monahans ten years. Survivors include three sons Jon Joe and Jim Williams of Lakeland Florida three brothers Clarence Williams of Monahans Leland Williams of Andrews and James Williams of Seminole. Ada Bowen notes appreciation for prayers and deeds during illness and death. Madie Davis Wilkins 78 of 2400 South Stockton will have services at 2 p m today at First Baptist Church with Rev Charles Inman officiating. Burial in Monahans Cemetery under Wilson Miller Funeral Home. She died Friday August 25 1978 at Ward Memorial Hospital after a ten month illness. Born April 19 1900 in Hopper Arkansas she moved to Monahans in 1953. Married February 8 1922 in Caddo Gap Arkansas to Henry Wilkins who died September 5 1976. Survivors include daughter Mrs Ross Gann of Monahans son Raymond E Wilkins of Fort Worth two sisters Mrs Grace Vaught of Hot Springs Arkansas Mrs Norman Clark of Seminole and five grandchildren.
