Moline Mourns Wittich After Milan Road Attack

Johann Conrad Wittich, a respected Moline architect and draughtsman born in Eisemach Germany, was attacked by three intoxicated men on the Milan road and died from a fractured skull. The assailants Ganey Grogan and McCormick were captured and jailed after a police chase. an inquest blamed them for his death. The incident follows prior robberies and a funeral service for Wittich held in Moline.
