Democrats and Populists Name County Ticket In Fusion Deal
Saturday conventions by Democrats and Populists endorsed a fusion slate. George Schlund and O H Perry were named for legislative posts, Herbert for treasurer, with a long list of county officers including Purdy Tobin Saul Greene Hitchcock Crane Hall Thompson Israel Greene Stahl McKinley Everett Smith Weeks and Tremaine Stevens Boynton Wilson. The two parties agreed on a joint ticket with the democrats receiving the state senator treasurer surveyor two justices of the peace and two constables while populists supplied the remainder.
