At a conference committee meeting for the Old Soldiers Reunion on Oct 4 and 5, committees were set for Reception Camp Fire and Program and a Chief Marshal was elected A B Kelsey. Aides will be chosen from each post in the 6th District. Alexandria Herald notes Judge Haney was renominated for the Fourth Circuit. Letcher Blade reports a Republican renomination and strong support for Haney. Frank Wallis returns with bride Maud Bantz of Independence Iowa and holds a reception for friends.
